You wouldn't know it with the heat and humidity we are experiencing but the signs are there.
Apples are starting to appear on the orchard shelves.
I made a batch of caramel to cover the apples and for dipping.
Leaves are starting to fall to the ground.
I have the itch to decorate for fall. I am trying to hold off until at least Labor Day!
May you day be filled with joy and contentment!
Hello :-) Yes, the stores are all ready for Fall here and I have been doing a little decorating.. The heat and humidity is just miserable here and I am longing for the cooler days! Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteI too, am slowly decorating. I can't wait to fill the house with smells of autumn.....Blessings
ReplyDeleteFall in Florida means the temperature might drop below 85 degrees. I'm a little bit jealous of your falling leaves. :)
ReplyDeleteIn the stores the fall decorations are out so it's hard not to feel the difference in the air around here. We are having some hot humid days still but they are far aprat now and inbetween the windows are open, the AC is off and blankets are going on the bed. I do love the smell of Fall.
ReplyDeleteMmmmm...that caramel looks delicious! Would you mind sharing how you made it? It is still very hot and humid here in GA but hopefully it will begin to cool off soon! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh Wendi,
ReplyDeleteyou make me long for autumn! Caramel apples are so yummy!
I'd not been by for a bit, so I wanted to say hi and thank you for
following me at Harvest Lane Cottage. I'm having a giveaway this week.
Happy Labor Day Weekend!
Laura
Your caramel with the apples looks delicious.
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to fall and cooler temps. We are having the hottest summer days of this season right now and it will be just fine with me when they are over and it is not so hot.
