There are tons of interactive things to do.
Climbing inside of a "rock" and then getting to slide out.
Pretending to be the Mama Dinosaur.
We could have stayed there for hours watching it.
Unfortunately the batteries died in my camera shortly after we arrived. This is the second year we have been able to attend this outing. We hope to make it an annual trip.
we are going there on Thursday for Christopher's FIFTH birthday! When we went a few months ago, we didn't even get through half of it. We decided we are going to buy a year membership for our family. Especially, since it only takes about 40 minutes to get there!! Thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteWhat fun! We haven't taken Levi yet, but my brother gave us free tickets to go. Hope to go this month some time. I haven't been in YEARS... Levi will love the trains; we try to take him anywhere there are trains. In fact, we went over to the Garfield Park Conservatory this week. They have a few trains set up there, as well as beautiful poinsettias and Christmas lights. It was only $2 admission for adults. Under 3 is free. Children are $1. You might check that out. It is cheap admission and a nice place to walk around and look at plants/greenery, too. (Not as exciting as the Children's Museum, but still a nice little getaway.) We enjoyed it and are planning on going back one more time.
ReplyDeleteWow, that looks like so much fun. I loved the picture on the merry-go-round, it looks like y'all are having such a good time:)
ReplyDeleteLooks fun, Wendi! I've been slacking on my Family Fun nights! :)
ReplyDeleteWendi,
ReplyDeleteI too, love going to the museum and seeing it from the eyes of our children! It truly does keep the learning alive.
