Family Fun: Christmas Light Drive

Saturday night we went for a drive to look at Christmas lights. Before leaving I made up a snack bag for everyone; popcorn and m&m's.

Megan was all snug in her jammies with her friends, a nice warm blanket and a snack.

We then drove for about 45 minutes through some neighborhoods close to ours.

Our last stop was at a neighboring church. After taking in the real reason for the season we headed home. A night of simple, fun, relaxing and frugal fun!

  6. These are great lights. Where abouts are they? My husband works in Beech Grove (Elmwood Ave. past Expo Bowl). Levi LOVES to look at the lights. But, we haven't found any neighborhoods that have alot of lights in them. Any suggestions?

  7. Hi Denise! Sorry it took me so long to get back with you. I haven't had much computer time. About the light... we drove around some in Franklin Twp. Around Arlington & Thompson. The best house we saw was on Derbyshire behind the Southport Park. It is amazing! Hope this helps.

I tried to post a comment to your blog, but it would let me and I didn't see an e-mail address for you. Again I am sorry it took me so long to respond.

  8. Sorry, I don't know why my blog didn't want you to leave a comment. It's funny you should respond to me today. We went this evening to a friend's house who lives on Derbyshire on the other side of Banta, and they told us about that house on Derbyshire. We went over there to see it when we left their house. WOW!! It was really cool! Levi loved it! We cracked up at the house next door with the sign that said "Ditto" on it. Thanks for the info and MERRY CHRISTMAS!
