An Apple A Day...

We made an impromptu visit to the apple orchard. We were visiting my parents on Saturday and I mentioned that I had seen that some of the early apples were ready. Grammi looked at Megan and said "do you want to go to the orchard?" and off we went.
We walked the orchard checking out the trees and exploring.
We didn't pick apples this time as most weren't ready. We could tell on our stroll that it won't be long. Yay!
There was a stop made at the concession stand to share a hot dog, fried biscuits with apple butter and apple cider slush.  Yum!
Good bye beautiful orchard! I'm sure we'll see you again soon and in the mean time we'll enjoy snacking on your crunchy apples.

May your day be filled with joy in the journey!

  6. We loves visiting the orchards when we lives in Illinois. It was a tradition. There are no orchards here like that.
