An Afternoon Hike

We headed a couple of hours south to a state park and spent the afternoon exploring.
It was a perfect day. Warm and sunny with no humidity.
After a full day we headed home as it started to rain. We even saw a faint rainbow as we got on the interstate.
Chuck and I thought our legs were going to fall off for the next couple of days. It was worth every ache and pain as we had a lot of fun!

May your day be filled with joy and contentment!

  1. What fun! Is that by any chance Clifty Falls? I am thinking of taking Jonathan there this fall.

  2. Where did you go? We went to Cataract Falls last Friday and Brown County State Park Monday. Love this weather and the opportunities to explore!

  3. We love hiking! It is with the aches! I know! We got lost one time for 3 hours and it was actually a little scary. But my kids and I look back and laugh and reminisce all the time!
