Joy in the Ordinary

Look around, really look around and you will find joy... joy in the everyday... joy in the ordinary things.

Typical March weather warm enough to be outside one day and then cold enough for ice the next.

Making my own fabric softener.  I have used it twice and will let you know what I think after a few more loads.

Megan loves to butter the bread to go with spaghetti.

The boys have been enjoying the cars this week.  It is a joy to see Eli get to the stage where he is engaged for longer and longer periods of time.

A huge thank you to everyone for their kind comments on my chat with Tammy.  I am looking forward to getting to know some new friends!

May your day be filled with joy and contentment!

We have been having warmer days but still the snow lingers on the ground so no playing outside for us. So glad you get to....

I tried the laundry stain remover recipe that you posted. It works well, but won't spray out of the Windex bottle I re-purposed for the cause. Are you having trouble with this? I am thinking of putting it into a pump or squeeze bottle when I empty one.
I will look forward to hearing your results with laundry softener. I would like to eliminate the sheets/chemicals from my routine.

I loved seeing you on Tammy's chat and I giggled at your driving answer because I am the same way. I try to avoid driving as much as possible and I get so nervous if I have to drive on the freeway LOL

Hope you have a wonderful Friday :)

We are having a couple of warm days and then back to cold. I am so ready for it to be warm all the time. We do need some moisture here so bad however. I would like it as rain and not that nasty white stuff you have to shovel.
Your little ones are so cute.
Have a wonderful weekend.

What a sweet post. We have had a few warmer days here in GA and looking forward to the weekend with temps. in the high 60's! Looks like you have a great helper in the kitchen. Love the look on the little one's face while playing with the cars. He looks so focused and serious! :) Have a great weekend.

Angie,

I am having the same issue! I think it might be the baking soda that is clogging the sprayer. In the next week or so I will need to make some more. I am going to try heating the baking soda and water together to desolve the baking soda. I will let you know if it solves the problem!

Wow, Jess and I were just talking about making our own fabric softener. Let us know how you like it. We were 70 degrees on Saturday with ice covering everything this morning. Enjoy your day and God bless.
