Sorry I never got back to you about my pickle recipe. I haven't been able to find a really dilly homemade brine so when I make dill pickles, I use a prepacked mix. And they're not as crunchy as store-bought ones but I still enjoy them.I totally know what you mean about staring at the rows of your canned goodies. It does feel so good knowing that you did it all. Canning is addictive, I think!
I've always wanted to learn how to can but it looks hard and it looks like you need a lot of stuff. Can you give us a lesson in canning?
